1. General Refund Policy

Due to the custom nature of our services, all sales are final once work has commenced. We dedicate significant time, resources, and expertise to each project, and refunds are generally not available once we have begun development or design work.

However, we understand that circumstances may vary, and we are committed to customer satisfaction. We evaluate refund requests on a case-by-case basis.

2. Project Deposits and Initial Payments

Before Work Begins: If you request a refund before any work has been started on your project, we may issue a full refund minus any administrative processing fees (typically 5-10% of the total deposit).

After Work Begins: Once we have commenced work on your project (design mockups, development, migration, etc.), deposits and initial payments are non-refundable. This is because resources have already been allocated to your project.

3. Service-Specific Policies

Design Services

Custom design work, including Shopify theme design, Figma to Shopify conversions, and UI/UX design, is non-refundable once concepts or mockups have been delivered. We offer revision rounds as outlined in your service agreement.

Development Services

Shopify development work is non-refundable once development has begun. We follow an iterative approach with regular check-ins and updates to ensure the final product meets your requirements.

Migration Services

Platform migrations (Webflow to Shopify, WooCommerce to Shopify, Magento to Shopify) are non-refundable once the migration process has been initiated and data has been transferred. We provide comprehensive testing and quality assurance throughout the migration process.

Consulting and Strategy Services

Consulting sessions, audits, and strategy services are non-refundable once delivered, as the value has been provided through the time and expertise shared.

4. Satisfaction Guarantee

While we do not offer blanket refunds, we are committed to your satisfaction:

  • We include revision rounds in all design and development packages
  • We work closely with you throughout the project to ensure alignment
  • We provide regular updates and opportunities for feedback
  • If you're not satisfied with the direction, we'll work with you to make necessary adjustments within the scope of your agreement

5. Exceptional Circumstances

We may consider partial or full refunds in exceptional circumstances, such as:

  • Service Not Delivered: If we fail to deliver the agreed-upon services
  • Significant Delays: If we experience unreasonable delays beyond our control and cannot complete the project within a reasonable timeframe
  • Breach of Agreement: If we materially breach the terms of our service agreement

Refund amounts in these cases will be determined based on the work completed and resources allocated.

6. Requesting a Refund

If you believe you are eligible for a refund, please contact us as soon as possible:

  • Submit your request in writing to hello@getshopified.co
  • Include your project details, order number, and reason for the refund request
  • Provide any relevant documentation or correspondence

We will review your request within 5-7 business days and respond with our decision. If approved, refunds will be processed within 14 business days to the original payment method.

7. Chargebacks

We encourage you to contact us directly to resolve any payment disputes. If you initiate a chargeback without first contacting us, we reserve the right to:

  • Suspend all work on your project immediately
  • Retain all work completed up to that point
  • Provide evidence to the payment processor to dispute the chargeback

Unjustified chargebacks may result in legal action to recover costs and damages.

8. Changes to This Refund Policy

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
